1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using verumprime.in (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Om Prakash Kumar (Proprietor), trading as VerumPrime (“VerumPrime”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Description of Service

VerumPrime is an online appointment booking marketplace that connects patients with hospitals and doctors in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas for in-person and online consultations. We list verified healthcare providers, surface their availability, and process appointment bookings and the associated consultation fees online.

VerumPrime does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or healthcare services. We are an intermediary that facilitates discovery and scheduling. All medical care is provided by independent hospitals and doctors. Any decision relating to your health should be made in consultation with a qualified medical professional.

For medical emergencies, do NOT use this Platform. Call 108 (ambulance) immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. VerumPrime is a scheduling marketplace, not an emergency response service.

Doctor and hospital information — including qualifications, registration numbers, fees, and availability — is provided by the listed practitioners and verified to the extent reasonably possible. VerumPrime does not independently certify medical credentials and does not guarantee the accuracy, currency, or completeness of provider-supplied information.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Platform. If you are below 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account Registration & Security

To book appointments, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@verumprime.in of any unauthorized access.

5. Booking & Payment Terms

When you book an appointment, you may be required to pay the consultation fee online via our payment partner (Cashfree and supported UPI providers). Bookings are confirmed only after the hospital or doctor accepts the appointment. Until confirmation, slots may be reassigned.

Fees, taxes, and any applicable platform convenience charges are displayed before you confirm payment. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself or your medical condition.
  • Use the Platform to abuse, harass, or threaten healthcare providers or other users.
  • Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
  • Post reviews you did not earn through a verified booking, or otherwise manipulate ratings.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian law.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the VerumPrime name and wordmark, is the intellectual property of VerumPrime and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of the personal information and content you submit, but you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it as necessary to operate the Platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerumPrime disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected, and we make no warranty as to the qualifications, conduct, or treatment outcomes of any provider listed on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

VerumPrime acts as an intermediary as defined under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We are not a healthcare provider and are not responsible for the medical advice, diagnoses, treatment outcomes, conduct, or service quality of any hospital or doctor listed on the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerumPrime, its proprietor, and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to VerumPrime in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform must be brought within twelve (12) months of the event giving rise to the claim, after which it shall be permanently barred.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VerumPrime, its proprietor, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continued access poses risk to other users, providers, or the Platform itself. You may stop using the Platform at any time by closing your account; certain data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our services, or operational requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of written notice, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, the seat and venue of arbitration shall be Jamshedpur, and the proceedings shall be in English.

15. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, acts of war or terrorism, civil unrest, governmental orders, internet outages, or failures of third-party service providers including hosting, payment processing, and email delivery partners. The affected party shall make reasonable efforts to resume performance promptly.
